We are currently seeking Health Care Assistants to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of children and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-cantered care for children with a variety of needs, including those with autism, learning disabilities, and other additional needs.
- Assist with daily living activities, personal care, feeding, and mobility support.
- Implement care plans and support the holistic development of the children.
- Monitor and record progress, as well as any concerns or changes in the child’s condition.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to children and their families.
- Liaise with parents, guardians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people.
- Experience in providing care for children with additional needs, especially in a domiciliary setting, is desirable.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to undertake relevant training.
- A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends.
- DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check (or willing to obtain one).
